Cruise jacket sizing runs true to standard letterman fits. Check the size chart photo in each jacket listing for exact measurements.
How to measure: lay a shirt that fits you well on a flat surface. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit (chest width) and from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem (length), then compare to the chart.

In 1963, USS Intrepid (CVS-11) deployed to the Western Atlantic and Caribbean, operating in the aftermath of the Cuban Missile Crisis when Soviet submarine activity in the Atlantic remained a top concern. Her antisubmarine air wing provided crucial tracking and deterrence in the waters closest to American shores during this tense Cold War period — one of the most operationally important missions the Navy performed in the early 1960s.
