How to measure: lay a shirt that fits you well on a flat surface. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit (chest width) and from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem (length), then compare to the chart.

USS John Young (DD-973) was a Spruance-class destroyer that served in the Pacific Fleet as a versatile surface combatant capable of anti-submarine, anti-surface, and land-attack warfare. The Spruance class represented a major advancement in destroyer design when introduced in the 1970s, featuring gas turbine propulsion and advanced weapons systems. John Young deployed across the Pacific and Indian Ocean regions throughout her service life, performing the full range of fleet escort and independent operations.
