USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63) 1975 Cruise Sweatshirt

<p>USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) was a Kitty Hawk-class supercarrier commissioned on April 29, 1961. Her 1975 Western Pacific deployment was historic: she was on station in the Pacific as the Vietnam War came to its end with the fall of Saigon in April 1975. Now redesignated CV-63, Kitty Hawk and her air wing bore witness to the close of the longest conflict in American history. Homeported at Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, she had served throughout the entire war. This sweatshirt honors the crew who served during that historic cruise.</p>
