USS McFaul (DDG-74) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer commissioned on 25 September 1998 at Bath, Maine. Named for Navy SEAL John William McFaul, who was killed in action in Vietnam on 19 March 1969 during a prisoner rescue attempt.
