USS Mesa Verde (LPD-19) Ship's Crest Sweatshirt

USS Mesa Verde (LPD-19) is a San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock commissioned in December 2007 and named for the Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado, honoring the ancient Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings. As part of the San Antonio class, Mesa Verde provides a modern amphibious capability combining the functions of older LPD, LSD, and LST hull types. She supports Marine expeditionary operations with a well deck for landing craft and a flight deck for helicopters. Homeported in Norfolk, Virginia, Mesa Verde has deployed in support of amphibious ready groups across multiple theaters.
