USS Midway (CVA-41) 1965 Cruise Sweatshirt

USS Midway (CVA-41) deployed to the Western Pacific in 1965 as the United States was rapidly escalating its involvement in Vietnam. Midway and Carrier Air Wing 5 conducted combat operations in the Gulf of Tonkin, flying strike missions against North Vietnam and supporting ground forces in South Vietnam during the early major escalation of the war.
