USS Midway (CVA/CV-41) Ship's Crest Sweatshirt

USS Midway (CVA/CV-41) was commissioned in 1945 as one of the first carriers too large to transit the Panama Canal. She served in every major conflict from the Cold War through Desert Storm and was the longest-serving American aircraft carrier of the 20th century. Homeported in Yokosuka, Japan from 1973 to 1991 as the Navy's only permanently forward-deployed carrier, she participated in Operation Frequent Wind, Operation Earnest Will, and Operation Desert Storm before decommissioning in 1992. Today she is preserved as a museum ship in San Diego. This sweatshirt displays the ship's crest and is made from a comfortable cotton-polyester blend fleece.
