USS Momsen (DDG-92) 2006 MAIDEN DEPLOYMENT Unisex Sweatshirt

USS Momsen (DDG-92) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer commissioned on January 28, 2006. She was named for Vice Admiral Charles B. "Swede" Momsen, a legendary submariner who developed the Momsen Lung submarine escape device and personally led the rescue of sailors trapped aboard USS Squalus in 1939. Homeported at Everett, Washington, Momsen completed her maiden deployment in 2006, establishing herself in the Pacific Fleet. This sweatshirt commemorates that first cruise.
