USS Monterey (CG-61) 1991-92 Unisex Sweatshirt

USS Monterey (CG-61) is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser commissioned on June 16, 1990. Named for the 1846 Battle of Monterey during the Mexican-American War, she was homeported at Mayport, Florida. The 1991-92 deployment placed Monterey in the aftermath of Desert Storm and into the early post-Cold War era, with operations in the Mediterranean and Atlantic. This sweatshirt honors the crew who served during that formative deployment.
