USS New Orleans (LPD-18) Ship's Crest Sweatshirt

USS New Orleans (LPD-18) is a San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock commissioned on March 10, 2011, and homeported at Naval Station San Diego. Named for the city of New Orleans in honor of the Battle of New Orleans in January 1815, she is the fifth ship to carry the name. San Antonio-class ships are designed to transport and land Marines and their equipment for amphibious assault, humanitarian missions, and special operations. New Orleans has deployed to the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean as part of Amphibious Ready Groups supporting the forward presence mission.
