USS Nimitz (CVN-68) 2013 Cruise Sweatshirt

USS Nimitz (CVN-68) deployed in 2013 to the Western Pacific and Persian Gulf in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) flew combat sorties over Afghanistan throughout the deployment, providing close air support to ground forces as the long campaign entered its final years. The 2013 cruise marked one of Nimitz's last OEF deployments before the drawdown of combat operations in Afghanistan.
