USS Port Royal (CG-73) 2006 WESTPAC Unisex Sweatshirt

USS Port Royal (CG-73) is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser commissioned on July 9, 1994, and homeported in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Named for the Battle of Port Royal, a significant Union naval victory early in the Civil War, she has been a stalwart presence in the Pacific Fleet's carrier strike group operations. During the 2006 WESTPAC deployment commemorated by this sweatshirt, Port Royal operated in the Western Pacific in support of ongoing operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, providing Aegis air defense for the strike group and maintaining U.S. naval presence in critical maritime regions. This sweatshirt honors the crew who served during that deployment.
