USS Preble (DDG-88) 2004 MAIDEN DEPLOYMENT Unisex Sweatshirt

USS Preble (DDG-88) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer commissioned on November 9, 2002, and homeported in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Named in honor of Commodore Edward Preble, the bold naval commander who led the first U.S. naval squadron into the Mediterranean during the First Barbary War (1803-1805), she is equipped with the Aegis Combat System and armed with Tomahawk cruise missiles and Standard Missiles. This sweatshirt commemorates Preble's 2004 maiden deployment — her first operational deployment as a commissioned warship — during which she operated in the Western Pacific.
