USS Princeton (CG-59) 1993 WESTPAC Unisex Sweatshirt

USS Princeton (CG-59) is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser commissioned on February 11, 1989, and homeported in San Diego, California. Named for the Battle of Princeton (1777), she is best remembered for surviving a double mine strike in the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Storm in February 1991. After repair and return to service, she resumed her role as a carrier strike group air defense platform. During her 1993 WESTPAC deployment commemorated by this sweatshirt, Princeton operated in the Western Pacific, conducting fleet operations as part of her return to full deployment readiness. This sweatshirt honors the crew who served during that deployment.
