USS Princeton (CG-59) 1998-99 WESTPAC Unisex Sweatshirt

USS Princeton (CG-59) is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser commissioned on February 11, 1989, and homeported in San Diego, California. Named for the Battle of Princeton in 1777, she earned fame for surviving a mine strike in the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. During the 1998-99 WESTPAC deployment commemorated by this sweatshirt, Princeton operated in the Western Pacific in support of carrier strike group operations, contributing to theater security missions and forward presence in the Indo-Pacific region.
