USS Princeton (CG-59) 2017 WESTPAC Sweatshirt

USS Princeton (CG-59) is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser homeported in San Diego, California. Commissioned on February 11, 1989, Princeton is named for the Battle of Princeton fought during the American Revolution in January 1777. This sweatshirt commemorates her 2017 Western Pacific deployment, during which Princeton served with the U.S. 7th Fleet conducting forward presence operations, maritime security, and theater security cooperation throughout the Indo-Pacific region. Princeton served with distinction for over three decades before her decommissioning on September 29, 2022, leaving behind a legacy defined by her crew's courage during the Operation Desert Storm mine strike of February 1991.
