USS Ranger (CVA-61) 1969-70 Cruise Sweatshirt

USS Ranger (CVA-61) completed her 1969-70 WestPac deployment during the early Vietnamization era. Operating from Yankee Station in the Gulf of Tonkin, Ranger's air wing flew interdiction missions along the Ho Chi Minh Trail and provided close air support as American ground forces began withdrawing from South Vietnam under President Nixon's drawdown program.
