USS Ross (DDG-71) Ship's Crest Sweatshirt

USS Ross (DDG-71) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer commissioned on June 28, 1997. Named for Chief Machinist's Mate Donald K. Ross, who received the Medal of Honor for heroically maintaining power to Pearl Harbor's battleships under intense enemy fire on December 7, 1941, the ship honors selfless courage in the defense of the fleet. Forward deployed to Naval Station Rota, Spain, Ross serves as a critical asset for NATO ballistic missile defense and 6th Fleet strike operations in the European theater.
