USS San Jacinto (CG-56) 2007-08 Deployment Sweatshirt

USS San Jacinto (CG-56) is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser commissioned on January 23, 1988, and homeported at Naval Station Mayport, Florida. Named for the decisive Texas independence battle of 1836 and with a legacy forged by firing the first Tomahawk missiles of Desert Storm in 1991, San Jacinto sustained decades of distinguished fleet service. This sweatshirt commemorates the Sailors of CG-56 who deployed in 2007-08, operating in support of carrier strike group missions and fleet operations during a period of sustained combat operations in the Middle East and sustained presence in the Mediterranean.
