USS Scranton (SSN-756) is a Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine commissioned on January 26, 1991. Named for the city of Scranton, Pennsylvania, she has served as a capable and versatile member of the Atlantic Fleet submarine force. She deployed in support of Operation Southern Watch and Operation Iraqi Freedom, launching Tomahawk cruise missiles in combat operations. This sweatshirt bears her official ship's crest.
