USS Somerset (LPD-25) is a San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock, commissioned March 1, 2014 and named for Somerset County, Pennsylvania — where United Airlines Flight 93 crashed on September 11, 2001. Twenty-two tons of steel from the crash site were forged into her stem. This framed ship photo honors her crew and the heroes of Flight 93.
