USS Stout (DDG-55) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer commissioned on 13 August 1994, named in honor of Rear Admiral Harold Stout. Homeported in Norfolk, Virginia, Stout completed her maiden deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and Persian Gulf in 1996, operating with the 6th Fleet in support of national security commitments in the region.
