USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) 1993 Cruise Sweatshirt

USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) is a Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier commissioned on 25 October 1986 and known as "The Big Stick." This sweatshirt commemorates her 1993 Mediterranean cruise, during which CVN-71 and her air wing conducted operations in support of enforcement of the no-fly zone over Bosnia-Herzegovina as part of Operation Deny Flight. It was among the first carrier deployments of the post-Cold War era to involve sustained combat air patrol operations in European waters. A proud keepsake for the crew and air wing veterans of that deployment.
