USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) is a Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier commissioned on 25 October 1986 and known as "The Big Stick." This sweatshirt commemorates her 1999 cruise, during which CVN-71 and her embarked air wing participated in Operation Allied Force — the NATO air campaign against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia — flying combat sorties over Kosovo in one of the most significant carrier operations of the decade.
