USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) is a Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier commissioned on 25 October 1986 and known as "The Big Stick." This sweatshirt commemorates her 2005-06 cruise to the Persian Gulf, during which CVN-71 and her air wing conducted sustained combat air operations in support of the Global War on Terror in Iraq and Afghanistan.
