USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) is a Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier commissioned on 25 October 1986 and known as "The Big Stick." This sweatshirt commemorates her 2017-18 cruise to the Persian Gulf and Western Pacific, during which CVN-71 and her air wing continued combat air operations in support of Operation Inherent Resolve against ISIS, while also conducting freedom of navigation and deterrence operations across the broader Indo-Pacific region.
