VFA-132 Privateers Squadron Crest Sweatshirt

VFA-132 Privateers flew the F/A-18A Hornet from NAS Cecil Field, Florida. Established in 1984 and disestablished in 1992, the Privateers maintained a proud tradition of strike fighter excellence during their years of fleet service. The squadron's pirate-themed crest honored the historical tradition of naval privateers who operated under letters of marque. During its operational years VFA-132 deployed aboard USS Coral Sea (CV-43) and USS Forrestal (CV-59), flying missions in support of Atlantic Fleet operations.
