USS Annapolis

Commissioned in 1992, the Annapolis is a 688i Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine named for Maryland's capital city—home of the United States Naval Academy, which has trained naval officers since 1845. Named for the Academy's hometown, she served the Atlantic Fleet across more than 20 years of undersea operations before her decommissioning in 2018.
