USS Arlington

The Arlington, commissioned in 2013, carries the name of the Virginia county that houses the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery—sacred ground in the American military tradition. Built into her keel is a piece of limestone recovered from the Pentagon after the 9/11 attacks, making her a physical embodiment of the nation's commitment to never forget and never yield. She has deployed to the Mediterranean, carrying with her the weight and the honor of her name in every mission.
