USS Blue Ridge

The Blue Ridge has served as the flagship of the Seventh Fleet and the Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Japan since 1979—the longest-running forward-deployed command ship in American history. From her homeport at Yokosuka, Japan, she exercises command and control across the Western Pacific and has been the nerve center of American naval power in the Indo-Pacific for decades.
