USS Bremerton

Commissioned in 1981, the Bremerton is a Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine named for Washington State's naval city on Puget Sound—home of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, which has built and repaired warships since 1891. She served the Pacific Fleet through the Cold War before her decommissioning in 1997.
