USS Halyburton (FFG-40) was an Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate that served the United States Navy from 1984 to 2014. Named for Lieutenant (jg) Frederick Halyburton, a Navy aviator posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for sacrificing his life to save a wounded fellow aviator during World War II, FFG-40 honored that selfless legacy through thirty years of service in the Atlantic Fleet and beyond. This mug proudly displays the ship's crest and honors the crew who served.
