The USS Hawes (FFG-53) ship's crest on a 12″ × 17″ garden flag — a clean, understated way for veterans and families to fly the ship's colors at home or at the next reunion.

Commissioned on February 9, 1985, USS Hawes was a Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate, homeported at Naval Station Norfolk. She served the Navy for 25 years before decommissioning on December 10, 2010. Her crest carries the memory of every Sailor who served aboard her.
