(CG-66)
USS Hue City
The Hue City, commissioned in 1992, is a Ticonderoga-class cruiser named for the intense urban battle fought during the 1968 Tet Offensive—one of the Marine Corps' most costly engagements of the Vietnam War. She served the Atlantic Fleet throughout her career, deploying to the Mediterranean and Persian Gulf as the air defense commander for carrier strike groups. Her name carries the weight of that fight, and her crew has always been worthy of it.
