Commissioned on July 2, 1983, USS Jarrett was a Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate, homeported at Naval Base San Diego. She served the Navy for 28 years before decommissioning on April 21, 2011. Her crest carries the memory of every Sailor who served aboard her.
