USS Mustin

Commissioned in 2003, the Mustin honors Vice Admiral Henry Croskey Mustin, one of the earliest pioneers of naval aviation who became the first American naval officer to take off from a moving ship. The Mustin family has contributed multiple admirals to the U.S. Navy across four generations, making theirs one of the great naval dynasties in American history. The Mustin is homeported in Yokosuka, Japan, and serves as a forward-deployed ship of the Pacific Fleet.
