Commissioned on November 23, 1985, USS Pittsburgh was a Los Angeles-class nuclear-powered attack submarine, homeported at Naval Submarine Base New London. She served the Navy for 35 years before decommissioning on April 15, 2020. Her crest carries the memory of every Sailor who served aboard her.
