USS Constellation

"Connie" was the Pacific Fleet's legend—a Kitty Hawk-class carrier that served from 1961 to 2003, longer than almost any carrier in American history. She flew combat missions in Vietnam, participated in every major Pacific conflict of the Cold War era, and launched strikes in Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Connie's crew always felt like the chosen few, sailing on a ship that had seen everything and was still standing. She never stopped earning it.
