USS Wisconsin

Commissioned in 1944, the Wisconsin is an Iowa-class battleship that served in World War II, Korea, and most recently Operation Desert Storm—where she fired Tomahawk cruise missiles and 16-inch shells against Iraqi targets in January and February 1991. She was the last battleship decommissioned by the United States Navy, striking her colors in 1991. Now a museum ship in Norfolk, Virginia, she stands as the final testament to an era of naval warfare that will never return.
